Home to the famous Zanzibar red colobus monkey, Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park makes for a sensory trip. This half-day private tour takes you into the island’s only national park to walk along its nature trails and amongst some fascinating wildlife.
You’ll arrive at the forest in Jozani Chwaka National Park in the mid-morning ready to step foot on territory that’s home to endangered red colobus monkeys, bush babies, duikers, butterflies and birds. And once you’ve got your eye trained on the treetops, you’ll be in for a chance of spotting these elusive creatures as you make tracks through the park.
Zanzibar is the only place where you can spot red colobus monkeys as well as many other types including Sykes’ monkeys. Your own guide will be on hand to help you find them and fill you in on their habits and more. After a two-hour ramble in the forest, you’ll be back at your hotel for lunchtime.
